If you have ever been to Carriagworks in Sydney you would know the vast
architectural beauty of the warehouse space. Take this and pair it with the
beautiful work of renowned German artist Katharina Grosse, its a match made in art heaven. Using a spray
gun, Grosse has created a beautiful and multi layered painting
different folds of the white fabric, resulting in an experience that has be
seen to believe. From the moment you walk in, the vast folds and beautiful colours
draw you in and inspires so many ideas. According to the Carriagworks website, she used more than 8,000 square metres
of fabric, draped and knotted in direct response to Carriageworks
architecture. In pictures it’s beautiful, but in real life it will take your
breath away. It’s also free which is a bonus.
Oh and this outfit was
unplanned but so fitting.
